A 35 year old man,
Indra Okta Permana a.k.a. Raden not only claims that he is God but also
requested his followers to burn the Quran and pray to the Sun. The man who
hails from Sukabumi, West Jawa raised the anger of locals who beat him up until
he fainted.

written about other self-proclaiming Gods like Ayah

Sun Myung Moon and the likes. They all have one thing in common, their fanatical
followers. Raden “God” according to local Police, Sulaeman Salim had succeeded
to influence one family to become his follower.
The family members claimed that were like hypnotized by Raden, and were willing to believe whatever he
said, including that he is God. On August 24th, Raden brought the
said family consisting of two men and a woman towards a nearby hill. Upon
reaching the hilltop, Raden instructed them to kneel and pray to the Sun. And
while they were at it, Raden hit their body and their buttocks claiming that he
is trying to cleanse them from their sins. What a sadist!!
Later, he instructed them to burn their
Quran (apparently they are Muslims). The local folks who got to know about this
became crossed and reacted by beating him up until this “God” fainted. Luckily,
for him, the Police were in time to intervene and saved his life before things
got out of hand. He is currently detained at the local Police station to
facilitate further investigations on this matter.
Hmm… maybe his hypnotizing powers are still
at infant stage unlike Ayah
Pin who had much more success when it came to influencing and screwing up
the minds of his followers.
