Anyway, today's post is something sad i came to learn about. It is about a 16 year old girl who appears to look like a toddler. Her name is Brooke Greenberg. Doctors/Scientists can't find anything abnormal about her except that she may shed some light on how humans age. I felt a pity for her parents who are aging. There is a photo that shows her dad carrying her. How the parents may be concerned for her as they age and some fine day may pass on one fine day. Their worrying concerns could be who is going to look after their child once they are no longer around to take care of her.

Although she appears like a toddler, only her nails and hair are seen to grow. She has baby teeth but her bone age is estimated 10 years old. Her body is not developing as a coordinated unit but as independent parts that are out of sync, says a doctor from University of South Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Richard Walker.
There is one more fascinating fact about this little wonder child. There was a point of time when she was diagnosed with brain tumor. At that time, she slept continuously for 14 days and awoke with the missing tumor. In another incident, she had a brain seizure which doctors thought to be stroke which she recovered well without any physical damage to herself.
I hope she recovers and leads a normal life and age like everybody else.

There is a reason for everything and you will find that this girl has a uniqute talent of her own that will carry her through life. Parents should not worry about what happens in the future but enjoy and embrace every day they have with her.

Here all is well. Busy time with lots of changes for me! Can't recall if you read my latest posts tho, but I ended my studies. I decided to let it go.
I have seen a documentary of a similar case. Only this little lady is more extreme, since she stays in a baby form. The documentary I saw was from another little lady who did grow a little. Is she still alive? Hmm I need to google this! I do wonder if they really get much research done when you have cases like this. I can imagine that her parents rather want her with them then as a study case. But on the other side, they don't know what's wrong with her, so she becomes a study case either way. How difficult!

It's been awhile. How are you doing? It was pretty sad to hear that you decided to let go your studies. I still remember how you were talking about it with full of zest. I know that the paper chase can sometimes be very challenging. Time will prevail ...and don't give up too soon.
As for me,my boss is turning me into a workaholic with more workloads with less staffs in the office. Therefore, i have to endure the Technical, Quality, Shipping, Administrative & HR issues. It is a global company but the set-up is small & many working here have very little time for themselves.
I still enjoyed blogging & haven't really had much time for new posts.
