When I was young I believed everything i read, heard & saw. Of course, Television had the greatest impact on me as a child. I was exposed to all kinds of Superheroes, from Batman to Superman, Zorro, Man from Atlantis, Spiderman, Ironman & what not. Thank God they didn't invent "Con man".
One of those super hero stuffs were the one called "Tarzan-King of the Jungle". Just because of an air crash that left his parents dead, he learnt to survive in the woods without any Scouts training. Forget about the reef knots. But hey, this guy even had learnt to understand & speak the language of the jungles. Oh my, and i can't speak the language of my neighbors no matter how many times i hear them speak.
As for anyone living in the jungle, my question is, "Won't harm come to them in the form of venomous creatures like Centipedes, or animals like snakes, or ferocious animals like Tiger, Leopards etc? That is the question that came to me again when i came across this story of a little girl who was lost in the jungle at the age of 11. She came back as a woman who lived in the jungle for almost 18 years later without any clothes on to wrap her. The question on how she could have survived remains elusive as she is not able to utter any word. But this was a person who was with civilization for 11 yrs before she got lost. How could she have forgotten her native language? For this, i don't have the answers. Though there are some who are skeptical as she may have been fed by some hill tribe families.
She acts like a monkey, does not like the clothes she is wearing & would like to just remove them & return to the jungle. In most times, she seems to be in a world of her own with a gaze so far. She simply detaches herself from what is going around her.

she look so pitiful as i think she must be missing the jungle life, if i'm not mistaken she ran away again and was later found hiding in a shit pit near her home in the village. I would love to read her story say in ten years time and when she could give an interview about her life & experience in the jungle.
You are right Mr. Bluesman. She was crying in agony as she fell in a small pit & covered with human faeces up to the chest. The villagers were surprised how she managed to get stuck in there.
Saludos.
she looks very sad and lost.amazing how one can survive that long away from civilization.
Hola Alejandro,
Bastante verdad. Ella aparece solamente como un ser humano civilizado con ella ropa en pero sus instintos animales son dibujo ella de nuevo a selva. Ella aparece absolutamente perdida en esta familia y no tiene un sentimiento de pertenencia aquí.
Saludos.
Hi Nitus,
What amazes me is still how she managed to adapt to the jungle life. Hasn't she any fear of the dangerous wild animals in the jungle? Or maybe she has picked up some skills to survive in the jungle. Maybe there are some things that we can learn from her, if she only talks...
Thanks for your comment...
